George Coukos

George Coukos is both Head of the Department of Oncology UNIL CHUV and Director of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research Lausanne. A pioneer in cancer immunotherapy, of which he has become one of the world figures, Coukos is a specialist in gynecological cancers. In particular, he created the Ovarian Cancer Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, where he worked for 22 years. Previously, he had worked for 11 years at the University Hospital of Modena, Italy. Holder of numerous scientific distinctions, Coukos is the author of more than 200 significant publications in his field. It benefits from the support of multiple funds and foundations for the development of its research.
